Why GPR is not X-Ray?
Although concrete scanning is commonly referred to as “X-Ray”, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is Not the same thing.
The two technologies are completely different. One technology uses electromagnetic reflection and another uses radiation exposure principals.
In the case of using X-Ray, large areas need to be cordoned off to eliminate harmful exposure to radiation poisoning.
